Biography

David Begley is an Associate Professor, hired in 2004 and teaches Graphic Design + Digital Media courses with a focus on Typography, Visual Identity and a variety of upper level electives. Begley received his Masters of Fine Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a focus on developing Graphic Design curriculum. He has served as Education Co-Chair and on the Advisory Board for AIGA Jacksonville, and remains close with industry contacts. Begley has worked as a designer in New York City, NY and Denver, CO, and continues working on projects with clients throughout the country. His work has been honored and reproduced in national awards publications, and at the international level, having designed the logo for the Sea Island Georgia G8 Summit. He continues to work with design students to promote diversity and inclusion in the design industry.
