About

Jennifer L. Murray is the Dean of the Thomas G. Carpenter Library at the University of North Florida. With more than 25 years of experience in academic libraries, she brings extensive expertise in administration, technical services, and library systems. Her career began at SUNY Buffalo, where she spent 16 years leading initiatives in integrated library systems, cataloging, electronic resources, and discovery tools. Since joining UNF in 2017, Jennifer has advanced library services and technologies to ensure resources remain readily available and user-friendly, while collaborating with senior administrators to support the University’s academic mission. As Dean, she provides leadership for all aspects of the library, and guides strategic planning, facilities management, and innovation to strengthen the library’s role in enhancing academic success.
