A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Lindsay Powell Toth, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science in the Department of Clinical and Applied Movement Sciences at the University of North Florida. Her area of research is the validation of wearable activity trackers, like pedometers and accelerometers, and their use in health-related research.
