Biography
Dr. Ozdemir is originally from Turkey. Before she came to the United States to pursue her PhD, she worked at the Central Bank of Turkey. After that, she received her PHD and started teaching at University of Mississippi. Dr. Ozdemir joined the Coggin College of Business in 2017.
Her research interests are in the areas of money, banking, macroeconomics and international finance.
She taught various courses including microeconomics, macroeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, money and banking in the past. She is currently teaching Monetary Economics and Intermediate Macroeconomics at UNF.
