Biography

Dr. Raven Robinson-Wilson is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education - Foundations & Clinical Practice at the University of North Florida with an earned Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction, with a dual focus on Elementary Education and Educational Psychology. Dr. Robinson-Wilson continues to have years of experience teaching and engaging in research at the collegiate level (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral courses) while supporting grant-based programs. Prior to becoming a teacher educator/educational psychologist, she was a classroom teacher in urban, Title I and Renaissance schools, as well as STEM summer camps, across early childhood, elementary, and secondary grade levels/contexts.  
 
Dr. Robinson-Wilson's research areas are comprised of teacher education, equity, and motivation, with an intersectional focus on teachers’ beliefs and practices. She has presented at regional, national, and international conferences, with publications in academic journals and book series.
