Biography
D. ROB HALEY PhD, MBA, MHS
Professor and Director, Master of Health Administration Program,
University of North Florida (UNF) and Fulbright Scholar SeniorSpecialist in Global and Public Health
Dr. Haley is currently a Professor at the University of North Florida's (UNF) Brooks College of Health and the Director of the Master of Health Administration Program. His research is focused on value-based purchasing and healthcare quality improvement. Dr. Haley is a J. William Fulbright Senior Specialist in Global and Public Health, Visiting Scholar as China's Center for Health Management and Policy (Shandong, China), and served as a Fellow with the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
Dr. Haley's professional experience includes serving as Senior Director of Health Policy and Research for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and as a Director of Planning and Decision Support at a large integrated delivery system. He consults with business leaders and government officials on health policy, leadership, management and healthcare reform.
Dr. Haley earned his Ph.D. in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Gilling's School of Public Health, his MBA from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration, and his MHA from the University of Florida’s College of Public Health and Health Professions.
