Biography

Selye Lee joined the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice (CCJ) at the University of North Florida in the fall of 2024. Before joining CCJ, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and an Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director in Criminal Justice at Arkansas State University.

Dr. Lee’s primary research interests lie in developmental and life-course criminology, juvenile justice and delinquency, public perceptions of police, and reentry. Her research has been published in scholarly journals, including Crime and Delinquency, Police Quarterly, Policing: An International Journal, Deviant Behavior, and the International Criminal Justice Review.
