Abstract

Examines the contributions of a 12-week aerobic exercise on body composition, muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness of HIV-1 population. Revelation of significant improvements in the amount of lean muscle tissue; Increase in upper and lower muscular strength; Capability of exercise being a complimentary therapeutic modality in combating wasting process associated with advanced HIV-1 infection.
