Abstract

The Florida Virtual School has rapidly expanded to become one of the global leaders in online education, servicing the educational needs of more than 125, 000 students. One of the major challenges has been to ensure that educators and students have the opportunity to learn and teach in a collaborative and supportive environment. This session will detail strategies used to create a collaborative teaching and learning environment within a virtual school.
