Abstract

In some ways, it may seem odd to think about making your professional learning community (PLC) learning public as a separate component of PLC work. You might think that this happens inherently as a result of what PLC work is all about in the first place—making your practice public by sharing it and learning from it with others over time. Individual members of your PLC have been making their practice public to each other throughout the school year. Yet, like the process of data analysis, which consists of formative and summative activities, so is the process of PLC sharing.
