Abstract

Achieving the economic and environmental sustainability of our way of life has many nuances and challenges, ranging from the lack of technological means to sustainably meet all our needs, to the cultural inertia of any society. Perhaps the biggest challenge of the necessary migration towards a sustainable exploitation of our means will be how to convert, in a profitable and staggered way, the existing installations into more economical systems, especially urban environments. The transdisciplinary work of architects, engineers, students and professors is presented based on a first proposal to make the facilities of the Center for the Study of Renewable Energy Technologies (CETER) sustainable.
