About
David Fenner – Professor of Philosophy and Art - joined UNF as a visiting assistant professor in 1992. In 1995-96 he was moved to a tenure track line but spent that year as Visiting Fellow of Moral Philosophy at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. In 2001 he earned tenure; in 2008 he was promoted to professor; in 2010 he was elected Distinguished Professor by the faculty. He served as interim chair of the Philosophy Department, dean of the Graduate School, associate dean of Arts & Sciences, and president of the Faculty Association.
