Presents a study which investigated the determinants of exercise behavior, and factors associated with physical activity adoption and adherence in the obese, with emphasis on social physique anxiety (SPA). Measurement of body fat percentage and resting heart rate; How the body mass index was estimated; Finding that SPA was higher in both younger and older obese groups; Discussion on the findings.
