Resumen
C.A.M.P. (Collegiate Athlete Mentoring Program) Gator is a comprehensive leadership and mentoring partnership between the University of Florida and the University Laboratory School (P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School). This learning initiative establishes a mentoring relationship between collegiate student-athletes with at-risk and struggling K-12 children. The "Online Learning Community" component within CAMP Gator will exemplify what it means to use technology as a tool to enhance communication, expand learning opportunities, and ultimately lead to increased student success. By demonstrating the ways in which technology and online learning have become integral to the teaching and learning aspects of the program, CAMP Gator will serve as model for innovation and technology integration.
