Resumen

When does technology professional development become too burdensome? In other words, as budgets are cut and responsibilities of teacher’s increase, how do schools create technology professional development opportunities that are affordable and accessible? Through pilot research, we hope to address the issues facing educators and their perceptions regarding effective Technology Professional Development in schools. Our work will offer new insight to shed light on avoiding the pitfalls that may derail successful technology integration opportunities and the most effective and cost-efficient ways of meeting the teaching and learning needs of school faculty.
