Telling the Story of your Research Impact with Bibliometrics and Altmetrics for Promotion and Tenure

Academic librarians with faculty rank create original content for publication in the pursuit of promotion and tenure. This workshop will enable university library faculty to understand the power of bibliometrics and altmetrics to vividly tell the story of their research impact. Participants will gain insights into the diverse range of metrics available, learn how to interpret and leverage these metrics effectively to craft compelling narratives and to strengthen their promotion and tenure portfolios. Faculty members participating in the workshop will be better equipped to ensure their contributions are discoverable, recognized and valued within the academic community and beyond.
